Alerts


Health Alert

The resource health alerts are triggered whenever there is a change in the status of a resource.
e.g., if the status of a virtual machine was unavailable at a certain point of time, then the alert will be triggered. Another resource health alert will be triggerred when the resources becomes available again (i.e. a change in its availability status).


Currently, the deployed health alerts cover "All" the resource type and "All" the event status (which is a default and recommended practice by Microsoft).

When an alert is triggerred, an email notification is sent to the respective stakeholders of the resources. Following is a sample email notification for such an alert:

Service Alert

Service health helps to track the health of Azure services in a particular region. By default, they are enabled for "All" the region and "All" the service that will get triggered in case of any event.
