Tier0 Responsibilities
- Initial tenant or subscription acquisition.
- Set up for centralized logging and policy (prior to client team access).
- Set up for initial groups and role assignments in Azure.
- License acquisition for AAD licenses (this is required for all users logging into Azure).
- VNET assignments.
- Ingress controls (firewall, front door, app gateway).
- License acquisition for Power BI.
- Initial workspace creation for Power BI.
- SIEM set up.
- ITSM capabilities including asset management, change control, CMDB and service desk functionality.
- Cost reporting for a project team if needed.
- Vulnerability workbooks for vulnerability management.
- Alerting set up for required stakeholders.
- Initial dashboard creation and access for monitoring dashboards.
- Tier 0 disaster recovery.
- Identity platform set up (this could include deployment of Open IAM or deployment of Open IAM org). Tier 0 does not configure client specific settings in the identity platform.
- Identity platform roles.
- Support as needed with cloud function including enterprise app consent approvals or other functions that require global administrator.
- Support as needed with cloud deployments and resource issues.
